Since its foundation in 2020, the German Gaia-X Hub has been coordinated by acatech ‒ National Academy of Science and Engineering. It is the national contact point for Gaia-X in Germany and coordinates the work of the various domains. The team has also been providing scientific support for the eleven projects of the Gaia-X funding competition of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) since January 2022.
