Confidentiality Agreement

I consent that I will treat all information, documents, data, tasks, etc. within the scope of the project “Sovereign European Data Infrastructure” (hereinafter referred to as “the project”) as strictly confidential and keep it secret to any other parties.

I commit to taking appropriate measures to protect the confidential information. Within my organization, I will only grant access to the confidential information to individuals who require such access for the progress of the project. I will inform these individuals about the confidentiality and obligate them to preserve it as well. These obligations will persist even when my participation in the project concludes.

These confidentiality obligations do not apply to information that (I) is lawfully public (II) I was already lawfully aware of before its disclosure in the context of the project (III) has been lawfully disclosed to me by a third party without confidentiality obligations, or (IV) was independently generated without reference to confidential information of another party by myself.

I am aware that a breach of this confidentiality obligation may lead to my exclusion as an individual and possibly even the exclusion of my complete organization from the project. The possibility of pursuing further legal claims remains unaffected by this.

Privacy Notice

Furthermore, I consent that my contact details (name, email address, institution) may be included on a mailing list to inform about the activities and tasks of the “User Ecosystem and Requirements” workstream. My contact details may also appear on participant lists.
I am informed that this consent voluntary and that participation in the initiative is independent of it. I can revoke this consent at any time by emailing buero-iva3@bwmk.de and request the deletion of my personal data.
